My Top 3 Coupon Hacks!

1st of all I love to shop from my desktop if I know that site has deals – SUPER IMPORTANT.

For example I rarely ever find Amazon discounts so I feel fine shopping from my iPhone on Amazon. But a store like Target – I always shop on my desktop so I can utilize “extensions.”

So here it goes, TOP 3: in order of favoritism. 🙂 But FYI I use all of these and choose the one with the best discount for whatever store I’m shopping at.

#1 RetailMeNot: I use to use this before browser extensions came to be (more on that later if you have no idea what an extension is.) I used to shop on-line, open a separate tab and search for coupons on retailmenot.com for that specific store and then copy/paste them into the checkout window. THEN Ebates/Rakuten came along with the browser extension and…

#2 Rakuten: (formally Ebates) offers a % off your total purchase and mails you a “BIG FAT” check seasonally. My check are typically around $40…Let me break that down! I get $ back on stuff I was already buying. SO AMAZING!! but then Retail Me Not got a browser extension and then I also discovered Honey:

#3 Honey: This one is great for coupons…just REALLY great coupons…it’s funny because influencers will post their coupon links and I’ll often find even deeper discounts by using the Honey extension and comparing it to the offer from Retail Me Not & Rakuten. SO good!

So this sounds super complicated but what if I told you the browser does it for you…!? So a browser extension  is a little button you download that sits next in your browser. See the picture below, the little h (Honey), script R (retailmenot), & regular R (Rakuten)

Once you shop and add things to your cart these will automatically pop up telling you 20% off order, or $15 off, etc. etc., and you can run each one and see which gives you the best deal. And not all of them work with every store so they fill each others gaps. You should totally try them out!! They’re super easy to download and install into your browser.

DM me with any questions – I’m not a professional but I save SOOOO much money shopping by using these.

Also it’s important to note that I like RetailMeNot best because it pays you cash direct to your checking account after the sale is all final & they also offer coupons. Rakuten mails the check seasonally to your house & also offers coupons. Honey is just full of all discount codes so it’s an instant discount no cash is earned like the other two.

Let me know if you have used these or if this is all new to you!
