June 11th 2018 - Wicker Bags & Brown is trending! 👜
Brown is going to be a big color this year and in 2019. We are headed to Nantucket next week and I picked up a new suitcase from Home Goods. The one I liked best was a creamy brown, so weird (for me?) but so good! For the summer brown wicker is especially popular and you’ve probably noticed all the round straw bags selling out everywhere! I think we will be seeing a lot more brown and so here are a few brown bags I’m loving! Some of these are affiliate links and some are not, just love ’em!
June 4th 2018 - Smart Devices trending! 🕵🏼♀️
This week is Tegan’s birthday and he wants an Alexa. So I haven’t had an interest in a smart device like Alexa or Google Home because well I don’t know…we have Nest Thermostats which we LOVE and Phillips smart bulbs in our main entertaining space…I guess I never felt the need for it..I use my phone for most things. But I do see the beauty in just asking to hear a song from Alexa with out having to stop and plug our regular Bluetooth speaker in, and connect to it, and all that. After looking into an Alexa I see that they offer a kids version, but I think if we are going to do this we should go big or go home… the cheapest Alexa is about $30 for the Dot and the most expensive right now is $150 for the Show – and to me that’s not a significant price difference so we might as well go for the best technology at the moment. Tegan doesn’t have a ipad or tablet like most kids in our community, he just has a crumby old iPod that isn’t great and we’ve recently fallen in love with the Bucket List Family and we watch one video each night before bed. So I figure I should go with the Show because it has a big screen for YouTube videos. …and I’ve seen ways to get around the Google/Amazon feud that blocks you from using the YouTube app on Alexa devices.

MAY 28th 2018 - Dainty GOLD is trending! 💎
This week I’ve finally admitted that thin gold jewelry is all the rage. Actually it has been for awhile, it started with the classic gold bars ((which I’ll link to one below for old times sake)), but it’s evolved from bars and gold discs to layers of thin gold chains. I recently wanted to buy a layered thin gold necklace from Nordstrom but I know that jewelry doesn’t usually last very long for me, whether it be I lost it or broke it while living my best life playing with Tegan. Anyways, here are some favorites below, these are all from Target because I just one from myself from there, it’s BaubleBar brand and it’s very cute, and only $16.99. Mine is the layered necklace with the tassel. Oh and tassels…all the tassels. After all it’s graduation season!
MAY 22nd 2018 - Top Picks for Summer! ☀️
This week with the weather warming up summer is heavy on my mind. After getting our scuba certification last year we can’t wait to get the pool open. Tegan and I have been watching the bucketlist family on youTube and since he’s not old enough to scuba he’s been wanting his own snorkle gear, below I’ve linked the best kids & adult snorkle by the best brand in scuba Cressi by Aqua Lung. I’m also including the seating set and gas/electric fire pit we bought for the new back deck set up, and some other fun summer goodies that are our favorites!

This week I’ve been seeing everything Eyelet. Eyelet sleeves, shirts, dresses, kids clothes, women’s clothes, and home accents. It’s honestly a flash from the past much like the floral and velvet trends that began this year and are still happening right now.
